This violin, Giuseppe Pedrazzini 1924, has been missing since 13th September, 2009 when the violin was last seen in Tokyo with a person of Aleksei Sobolevsky, Russian American, who went missing with the violin.

The back is carved from two pieces of quarter-sawn maple with a soft medium curl which descends from the center joint. The sides are of similar maple. The scroll is carved from quarter-sawn maple with a softer and broader curl. The top is two pieces of spruce with fine straight grains and a distinctive flame-like figure which is most noticeable in the lower treble bout. The varnish is a deep golden orange in color.
